1/2 c coconut flour
1/2 c Stevia baking blend
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
…4 eggs
3/4 c milk, coconut milk, or almond milk

1/2 c plus 1/4 c sliced almonds
1/4 c plus 1/4 c unsweetened shredded coconut
Mix dry ingredients. Whisk together wet ingredients. Mix wet and dry together with an electric mixer. Add 1 c chocolate chips, 1/2 c sliced almonds, and 1/4 c coconut. Spread into a parchment lined pan and top with remaining coconut, almonds and chocolate chips. If thick, bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes, if thinner, bake 25-30 minutes.
put these in a smaller glass baking dish, so they were a little thicker/more cake like, but still AMAZING – you could put them in a larger dish and they would be more cookie-like.
Thanks to Sammie for your awesome recipe!
These look amazing. What is the nutrition value for these, calories, carbs, fat, sugar? I am a stickler for the facts ma’am. I would appreciate it if you could let me know so I can decide if these are for me. I anxiously await a reply.
Hi Melissa,
Thank you for commenting!
A fellow HCGer shared this recipe and allowed me to share it on this blog. So I don’t know exact numbers but this is what I do know… In looking at the ingredients I know those that limit carbs use almond and coconut flour to curb the carb intake. As far as sugar, since stevia and sugar free chips are used the sugar should be very low if any . Almond and coconut are high in fat but are good fats so that tells me that the calories probably are not low. It would take some work but you could probably get the calorie count by googling each of the ingredients then adding it all up. I hope that helps.
Well, I have to say, these are wonderful!!! They taste amazing. I am still working out the calories/fat/carbs, but I have to say that the sugar free hershey’s chocolate chips have a lot of carbs and the recipe calls for 1 cup and 1/2 and there are 9 carbs in 1 tablespoon. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that would make it 9 carbs x 24 tablespoons, since 1 1/2 cups would have 24 tablespoons in it then it would be 216 carbs in the entire dish. Am I right or wrong. I so want to eat this but I am afraid the carbs are high in it. Any help from anyone out there in figuring it would be greatly appreciated.
Warning!!!!! These are not HCG Any phase friendly. The Hershey’s sugar free chocolate chips have 198 carbs in the bag and a half that it calls for, so even after it is broken down into 16 brownie size pieces it has 17.9 carbs alone. I would suggest you use some other form of choc chip that is low carb. But the recipe is delicious.
you could always make the bars without choc chips and then make chocolate delight and put it on top and put in the fridge for a few minutes to harden the chocolate
Thanks for the alternative recipe – very cool!
I found sugar free chips made from stevia and not Hersey brand, they are Lilys. I’ve used them many times with no effect on my weight management, within reason of course.
Great!
Thanks for the helpful tip!
